Black Velvet Choker

This simple but elegant choker is a strip of black velvet ribbon set with a mustard yellow striped agate salvaged from a vintage bracelet. The design is inspired by victorian lace, but is executed in chain.

The agate is secured with silver jump rings that also hold decorative silver and copper chain. Hanging from the chain is a round bronze bead salvaged from another piece of old jewelry. It secures with copper chain.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE: This piece at its shortest is 14" long and it does need to fit snug, so please measure your neck to make sure it won't be too big! If you really love it and need it adjusted shorter I can make that happen (no extra charge) just let me know with a note.
